Founded by Swedish web developer Anton Andreasson, Standardice is a small web design company based in Göteborg, Sweden. (A localised version of this site is in progress so stay tuned, my Swedish friends.)

Short history
The latest year has probably been the most exciting year in web development for us. It may sound odd to still consider the web as something hip or cool, but if you've always had a passion for web developing and content managing, it's hard to remain indifferent to the current development.
Yeah, despite all booms and crashes, there's a lot of progress in the internet community and for the interface folks web standards and its growing acceptance is more alive than ever.
Re-education
But staying in the front line of this "new era" of web developing, doesn't mean everyone's going to listen to your praises — the change in attitude must come from within. For a web designer or webmaster to unlearn old practices, it takes a lot of time and patience before they get the "Eureka!" feeling of web standards and its lean, strict markup.
Therefore, we see a growing need of education and training in this area and we'll try to develop different types of courses in the near future. Email us for more information about this.
Knowing your limits
But of course there are limits to what a person can keep updated enough "upstairs". Therefore, networking with graphic designers, advertising agencies, independent programmers and ISP's becomes a must.
